Up points from last week, obviously we knew Rory would win but more value in Bob Mac and Tom Kim each way
1st pick – We backed Rickie Fowler straight after his win in John Deere Classic, has good history on course, got 25/1 now 18/1. Rickie should be one of favourites on form.
4pts win @ 25/1
2nd pick – D. Johnson – DJ has most birdies in LIV, long hitter which suits course, 7400yds, only for an 8 on par 4 in last major, surely would have won. Again savage value at 33/1 – get on him – Go DJ
2pts win @ 33/1
3rd Pick – Each way bet – Thomas Pieters at 225/1 – trending nicely on LIV Tour coming into this – way overpriced, better value than Scottie at 7/1 who wouldn’t putt it into a bucket coming into this
1pts e/w@ 225/1
4th pick – Cam Smith. The defending champ has rounded himself into form nicely with a LIV win recently and at 18/1 it seems a no brainer. His putting alone is worth a few shots on the field. He'll be supping liquor from the Claret Jug come Sunday evening.
2pts win @ 18/1
5th Pick – Each way bet – Guido Migliozzi. The Italian has played decent golf lately and an Open win could propel him back into Ryder Cup contention. At 400/1 he is worth a punt. Forza Italia
1pts e/w@ 400/1
